In 1999, Alex was called to the Bar. Alex regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, specialising in parenting and property matters.

Alex was admitted as a solicitor in 1996 where he practiced up until 1999 specialising in areas of Family Law, including both parenting and property matters.
