David was called to the Bar in 1996 specialising in Family Law including parenting and property matters, appellate advocacy and appearing as an Independent Children’s Lawyer. David further practices in matters relating to Child Protection, Family Provision claims, Crime and Mediation/FDRP.

David was admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 1985 where he practiced between 1985 – 1996 in aspects of Criminal Law, Family Law, and protection matters. David has gained numerous qualifications throughout his career including Mitchell CAE DipEd, University of Sydney BA (Hons), University of New South Wales LLB.
