During a legal career now spanning 50 years, 41 as a legal practitioner, Dillon Morley has been a court clerk, a law clerk, a solicitor, a barrister, a Judge, and has recently returned to practise the NSW Bar as a barrister at Coram Chambers in Philip Street, Sydney.

Dillon began his long legal career as a clerk in the NSW Supreme Court, spent five years as a law clerk at Clayton Utz, twenty-eight years as a solicitor, was called to the Bar for seven years before spending the next seven years as a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2)sitting in Family Law, and has now returned to the Bar to resume a wide practice in family law, wills, probate and succession, family provision, equity, commercial, contractual, and real property disputes, employment and restraint of trade disputes, and professional negligence and discipline matters.

In addition to preparing and appearing in all types of family law matters in Division 1, especially, but by no means exclusively complex parenting and property matters and appellate matters in the Appeals Division of the Court, Dillon is keen to accept briefs to fully prepare matters for hearing in Division 2 of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, including conferencing party and witnesses, detailed advice on evidence, and preparation of affidavits and financial statements.

As a qualified mediator and one of the first family dispute resolution practitioners, Dillon has a wide experience in family law and family provision alternate dispute resolution and will shortly commence as an Arbitrator in family law matters.
