Luke was called to the Bar in 2008, having completed his tertiary qualifications in law at the University of Newcastle.
He is also an AIFLAM Accredited Arbitrator. In November 2023 Luke was a co-founder of Coram Chambers and is currently a director and Head of Chambers.

Luke has developed a strong practice in Family Law, specialising in complex parenting and property cases, including appeals. He also practices regularly in the civil jurisdiction, in particular in family provision, equity and commercial matters.

Luke is currently a member of the Family, Care and Adoption Committee and has made a positive contribution given his vast experience in this area.
