
Mark Stevens
Mark was admitted is a barrister of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of NSW in1988, and has more than three decades of experience practising in equity, commercial, probate/succession, trusts, and corporations law.
A long-standing member of the New South Wales Bar Association, Mark has appeared extensively in the superior courts including the High Court of Australia (Appeal and Special leave), the Federal Court of Australia (including the Full Court), and the Supreme Court of NSW (including the Court of Appeal), with a focus on the Equity Division (commercial, equity, estates and trusts).
From 2004 to 2007, Mark served as Chairman of Edmund Barton Chambers (Head of Chambers). He has contributed to the legal profession through roles on the Bar Association’s Professional Conduct Committee, as a Bar Course ethics examiner, and as a mentor and tutor to junior barristers. His practice encompasses both advocacy and advisory work, with significant experience in mediations and complex estate and trust disputes.
